We thought it would be a year before we returned to the Advanced Photon Source, due to the upgrade, but last week we (Luisa, Devika, Haozhe, and I) traveled to GSECARS to conduct experiments using their laser heating system! In the photo, Haozhe and Luisa are using the laser drill to prepare gaskets for upcoming experiments.
